STOFFBERG HOMELAB

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

Overview

Stoffberg Home Authentication is a private authentication service used to provide secure access to self-hosted applications and services on the Stoffberg homelab.

Google user data

When Google Sign-In is used, the authentication service may receive basic account information made available by Google, such as your name, email address, profile picture, and a unique account identifier.

This information is used only to authenticate you, identify your account, and determine whether you are permitted to access supported homelab services.

How data is used

Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to build marketing profiles. It is not shared with unrelated third parties. Data may be provided to connected self-hosted applications only when necessary to perform authentication or account provisioning for authorized users.

Storage and retention

Basic identity information may be stored by the authentication system for as long as an authorized account remains active or as needed to operate and secure the service. Account information may be removed when access is revoked or the account is no longer required.

Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect authentication data and restrict access to authorized users and services. No system can guarantee absolute security, but access is limited to the minimum required for authentication and account management.

Third-party services

Google Sign-In is provided by Google and is subject to Google's own terms and privacy practices. Authentik is used as the identity platform for the homelab.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when authentication methods, connected services, or data handling practices change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
